Process
The build process is collaborative, and works through a series of predictable steps:
Consultation.
The first step is to determine your overall goals through a consultation. We’ll ask questions on your style of music, specific effects you are looking for, and your expansion needs.
The consultation typically takes about an hour, though if your pedalboard needs are complex, we may require additional time to gather requirements.
Mock Up.
We’ll produce a mockup for you, which reflects the exact configuration we’ll build for your board.
Assembly
Once you approve the mockup, we’ll begin assembly. This includes affixing your pedals to the board, building out labor for cables, power and audio cable management, and testing the operation of the board.
Configuration
Any MIDI, pedal management configuration (e.g. GigRig), or custom pedal programming required takes place after assembly. This step is typically only necessary if the pedalboard does includes programmable switches or pedals.
Document
We’ll document pertinent information about the pedalboard which isn’t readily apparent, e.g. signal flow, power requirements, configuration, etc.
Walkthrough
We’ll walk you through your new board, and provide personalized recommendations on operation and tone settings. We’ll also go over our documentation.
REVIEWS
When I decided to get back into playing guitar, I knew I needed to find a local shop to help me get comfortable in playing again. Whether it’s setting up or fine tuning my guitar, adding a stabilizer or helping me out with a gig bag, Matt and his staff at One Three Guitar has done all that and more. They have the knowledge, the time and respect for any instrument they are given, so I knew my guitar was in good hands. If I could give this place more stars I would. Thanks Matt for everything you have done. Good luck with the new shop (it’s coming together nicely). And you’ll definitely see me soon!Kyle H.
