About Tim:

Tim’s musical journey began in elementary school with the saxophone and quickly evolved when he began playing the guitar in middle school. In high school, Tim played guitar in multiple groups, diving into the genres of jazz, rock, country, funk, and metalcore.

In 2013, Tim moved to Nashville and found his calling as a utility musician while learning pedal steel guitar, banjo, mandolin, dobro, and keys. He played for many artists in the Nashville scene including William Michael Morgan, Brian Bonds, and Athena.

Tim began teaching music professionally upon moving to Richmond in 2019. He has worked with everyone from absolute beginners to other professionals and teachers.   While Tim currently tours with a major label Nashville artist, he calls Richmond home and returns to Virginia weekly.
