Our Team
Matt Avitable
Matt’s the founder of the company and serves as the general shop manager.
He received his degree in classical guitar performance from the University of Richmond in 1999, and has been known to dabble in software development as well as music over the past two decades in varying degrees.
When he’s not working on the business, he’s probably spending time with his family, making loud music with his band, or perhaps making more loud music at home.

Jason Hull
Jason Hull has been building and repairing guitars for more than 30 years, and is skilled in the repair of stringed instruments such as the banjo, bass, mandolin, and ukulele as well. He also has experience custom building mandolins and guitars. He has been a member of the Guild of American Luthiers since 1994.
Mostly self-taught (with help from the Guild), Jason’s early training was acquired at Guitar Services of Austin and Heart of Texas Music. Since moving to Richmond in 2003, he has worked as an independent contractor for several of Richmond’s best music stores. His services are now available exclusively, as the in-house luthier, from One Three Guitar.

Reid LaPierre
Reid has been heavily involved in the Richmond music scene since the turn of the century. When he’s not at the shop knocking down setups or managing the front desk, you’ll find him performing with local bands Night Idea, Ruth Good, and Houdan the Mystic. Reid completed the journeyman program at Galloup School of Guitar Building and Repair.
His Dolphin Olympics 2 high score is unparalelled in the region.

REVIEWS
Just a great place to have service your instruments, and look over their inventory of new instruments and accessories. They have done excellent work on all my guitars, and have sold some instruments for me. Highly recommend for fast friendly, and very competent service.Nick M.
