We just finished up the first phase of Gibson repair! This beauty is a 1932 L75, the first of several variations that lasted until 1939. It’s playing now, but we’re not done. Fretwork next!
This one had some extra challenges because we needed to repair broken braces. With a typical flat top guitar, you can reach the braces through the round sound hole. This guitar has f-holes, so the back had to come off.
